My recent tattooist made his grey wash using dynamic black. He had 5 cups and put the following amounts of black and topped each up with water: 1st cup - 100% black. 2nd cup - 50% black. 3rd cup - 25% black. 4th cup - 2 drops of black. 5th cup - 1 drop of black. I’ve not tried this but seemed to work well for him.You'll probably never know if it's the ink itself, the brand, the pigments, your skin or if it was your setup that caused the rash/infection.
